For People Who Say the City Has a "Revenue Problem"

Property tax collections don't change all that much. The city's budget is $127M+ and revenue decreased only $700k.

2011 Budget:
The economic realities challenging the City include: A reduction in the tax base equating to $703,096 in decreased revenue.
Now, don't let this fool you. Although the "tax base" may have gone down, this year's budget is 4.2% higher than last year's budget.

It's just for anyone who thinks the recession (read: depression) stopped the city from reaching into your pocket at all.
