Inland Greens Golf Course to Cost $600k More?

So, we purchased this for $500k. It has drainage issues for $800k. Now we're putting in $600k of improvements, including "bike and walking trails?"

This is the gift that keeps on giving, friends!

WWAY:
The city of Wilmington heard from the public Monday night as the city moves forward with plans to revamp Inland Greens golf course. The purpose of the meeting was to hear from members of the public on which park amenities they want.

The city bought the property back in march for half a million dollars. Another $800,000 will be spent on drainage improvements and $600,000 will cover park and golf improvements.

[...]City leaders say they have consistently received feedback from folks wanting walking and biking trails, which they plan to include in the project.
