No Bike Crossing Bike and Pedestrian Crossing at Ann Street and South 5th Ave

Nearly two years ago, the city accepted a grant from the state for Fit Community Programming.  Apparently, only now are they getting to bids for the construction projects they intended with the money.  The bids came in $18k higher than expected, so now they can't do what they intended.  Seems like a recurring theme.
